2022 Spartan Motors Gladiator®

Built with the most powerful engine in our line-up, the Gladiator® is built from the ground up to offer unmatched safety, strength and performance. The spacious cab interior of the Spartan Gladiator® provides maximum room for crew members, equipment and storage.

Flat floors, low step heights, and taller, wider cab doors allow firefighters to get in and out quickly at the scene. The Spartan raised roof extends over the driver and officer, making it easier to maneuver within the cab. We’ve even optimized the engine tunnel to increase leg and hip room for the front seats, while giving more floor space to the rear crew.

• Enhanced Maneuverability

The tightest turn radius and the most maneuverable chassis on the market. The turning radius cramp angles range up to 53° and offer up to a 19-degree approach angle, exceeding NPFA 1901 standards.

• Independent Front Suspension

Spartan’s 20k and 24k independent front suspensions provide superior cramp angles with full air suspension available with a range of tire sizes designed for easy service and maintenance.

• Most Spacious Cab

Spartan’s cabs offer the most room available with ergonomic designs, improved visibility, maximized storage, comfort and safety.

• Forward Cab Roof Design

All raised roof applications include forward roof protection that extends over the driver and officers seating offering more headroom and better line of site.

• Safer Entry and Egress

Contains the industry’s largest cab steps, lowest step height and tallest, widest cab doors, allowing for safe and efficient entry/egress.

• High Angle of Approach

This bumper gives you a high angle-of-approach for mobility options above and beyond the norm.

• Optimized Engine Tunnel

Increases the hip room for the driver and officer seating location as well as the rear crew floor space behind the engine tunnel, all without increasing the width of the cab. The rear of the tunnel is pushed forward to give an additional 2" of leg room for the two center forward facing crew, increasing leg room by +3.8%.

• High Air Intake

Spartan’s heavy-duty high air intake mitigates the risk with fewer connections and places the air filter and ember separator above the radiator and turbo connection. Air filter replacement can be easily done without tools and without compromising the clean side of the intake system.
